Here is the video I promised. Great closeup footage with lots of action. In future posts I will reveal the things I've learned that helped me to attract this huge amount of birds every year for the last 4 years.

Hummingbird feeding
Sorry I took so long between postings. They will become more frequent in the future. Some of you out there that feed the hummingbirds may or may not have experienced the volume of birds that you see on the videos. There could be many reasons for this, here are just a few,
1.Location geographically: I happen to be located in central Alabama.
2.Time of year: All of my footage is taken during late Aug. early Sept. This is during
the migration south for the winter.
3.Location of feeder: This is a BIG factor not to be taken lightly. I'll talk more
about this in future posts.
4.Nectar: Type and mixture. I'll talk more on this as well.
Those are just a few that I learned about through trial and error and found a great combination that has attracted a huge volume of birds each year.
Most of my posts will be short but will become more frequent especially as we get closer to Feb. and March. This is typically when the birds start their trek back to the north. The next post in a day or 2 I will include some of my closeup footage.

Hummingbirds Video
Welcome. I became interested in hummingbirds several years ago and for sure I have much more to learn about these fascinating birds. But over these past few years I have put together some of the most amazing footage you will ever see, in terms of amount of birds and some great closeup footage. I have recorded hours of footage out in front of my house. I will be posting this footage here on my blog. I will update my posts with new video every few days or so as I get time. I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I enjoyed making them.
